Bliptown is now licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence. Previously the source was licensed under the Apache 2.0 license, and although Creative Commons is uncommon (and even discouraged) in the software world, it is common in the art world. While I'm not interested in supporting strangers running my code, I am derriving a huge benefit from Mojolicious and the OpenBSD ecosystem, all of which are open source.
